Alcohol Poisoning Lands Stow Man in Hospital on New Year's Eve

The following information was supplied by the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The took a Stow man to the hospital for a case of New Year's Eve alcohol poisoning and arrested him on a drug charge.

The police and fire departments were called to a home in the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 10:54 p.m. Dec. 31 in regard to a male “unresponsive with alcohol poisoning.”

Police found that the 21-year-old had a small bag of marijuana, for which he was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs, a misdemeanor.

The man was transported to  by Cuyahoga Falls paramedics.
