Akron Man Cited in Falls for Carrying Loaded Gun in Car

An Akron man was detained briefly and given a summons Monday morning after police found a loaded gun in his car.
Donald Laymon, of Akron, was stopped by for a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Main Street at around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

A woman living in an apartment on Queens Gate Circle police after realizing her $2500 watch was missing from her bedroom. The watch, which had been sitting on her dresser, was last seen on March 5. Officers currently don't have any leads.
