$25,000 Rolex Stolen; Heroin Overdose; and Mystery Archer: Falls Police Blotter

The following was culled from Cuyahoga Falls Police reports dated Oct. 1-2. It does not indicate a conviction.

Time to buy a lockbox

A Huff Drive resident called Cuyahoga Falls Police after realizing someone had stolen his gold Rolex watch from the one place you should never hide your valuables: a bedroom dresser.  Estimated loss: $25,000. There are no leads or suspects.

Heroin OD

A man was cited with drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony; and drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor, after overdosing on the 2400 block of Northland Street. Police reported the man was in possession of heroin, a syringe and a burnt spoon.

Sticky fingers

A woman called police after cash and a cell phone were stolen from the trunk of her car parked along South Hidden Valley Road. Estimated loss: $1,100. Police have a suspect and the woman is planning on prosecuting.

Mystery archer

A perplexed Prior Park Drive resident called police on Oct. 1 when she spotted an arrow stuck in the shingles of her roof. There are no leads or suspects. Archers in the area should probably check their quivers to make sure no arrows are missing.
