FREEDOM WAS ON DISPLAY IN THE BICENTENNIAL PARADE

Bicentennial Celebration gives our city much to be grateful about! It is great to live in America were we can live in freedom and express those freedoms; even in a parade!

We are so blessed to live in the city of Cuyahoga Falls and the land of the Free. Broadman Baptist Church, as well as several other churches, participated in the Bicentennial parade.  We, as Americans, can often take our freedoms for granted and how easily we can forget that our freedom is a gift from God. During the Bicentennial Parade Broadman Baptist Church and several other churches celebrated one of our greatest freedoms in America – the freedom to express our religious beliefs. Broadman did so by carrying a wooden cross with the theme "Celebrating 200 years as a city; 2000 years of the Cross" and another church had a boat with the theme "fishers of men" in the Bicentennial Parade.  Regardless of our religious beliefs, it was inspiring to see so many people out celebrating the Bicentennial of our great city and it was good to see freedom of religion a part of this celebration.  The people of Broadman Baptist Church rejoice in being a part of this historic event!
