DETOUR Bluegrass Band to Perform at Concert Series at Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park

DETOUR bluegrass band will perform Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Happy Days Lodge as part of the Heritage Concert Series for the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  Happy Days Lodge is located at 500 West Streetsboro Road, Peninsula, OH. The concert begins at 8:00 pm.  Tickets are $17 - $20 and can be purchased in advance by calling (330) 657-2909 ext. 100 or online at www.conservancyforcvnp.org/events.

DETOUR is one of the fastest rising bands in bluegrass and has been dominating the radio charts since summer of last year with their hit album, A BETTER PLACE.  The album spent 10 months on Sirius XM Radio’s Bluegrass Junction Most Played Albums Chart, 10 Months on the Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine’s Top 15 Album Chart and the Roots Music Report Top 50 Bluegrass Albums.  Numerous tracks have appeared on the Bluegrass Today Weekly and Monthly Top 20 Song Chart. The album also garnered the band numerous other honors including being named in Bluegrass Today’s Top Favorite Albums of the Year, Prescription Bluegrass Top 15 Albums of the Year, and the Roots Music Report Top 100 Bluegrass Albums of the Year.
