Hester Parker, 90, Beloved Mother and Cherished Volunteer

Parker lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 62 years, and accomplished much in the city before her passing on Jan. 27.

Hester H. Parker, 90, passed away on Jan. 27 at Gardens of Western Reserve.

Mrs. Parker was born in Mooresville, NC and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1951, according to the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home. 

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls where she was a Deacon, had been a Sunday School Teacher and was active in church activities.

She had volunteered at the Quirk Cultural Center and Ruth Nichols Missionary Society. She remained active, lively and sociable into her mid-eighties.

Preceded in death by her husband, George and son, Gerald M Parker, she is survived by her daughter, Pamela Robin Parker, of S. Euclid, and daughter-in-law, Margo Parker, of Akron.

There will be no calling hours. Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
