4/20 is a day students around the country have devoted to smoking an illegal drug, weed.
4/20 originated in the 1970s when a group of stoners at San Rafael High School in northern California chose to meet at 4:20 p.m. each day to smoke their weed. It's been an illegal holiday ever since.
