Still Truckin' Along...
We are a large group of Cuyahoga Falls residents with a very strong sense of pride and a renewed focus and vision for our city. Many of us have lived our entire lives here.
Today we went to Coffee with the Editor at the library to help spread the word. The ward one meeting is set for March 13th at 7pm. We have a tentative place but once it is set in stone we will let everyone know where. I am loving all the positive feedback this initiative is getting. Please keep spreading the word. The more we get involved in this the better and bigger it can become. In recent years, we have realized that we have inherited some big-city problems that have the potential to threaten our quality of life if we don't reverse the trend.
Our belief is that complacency is not an option and we must strive to be
pro-active. We are close to completing a comprehensive multi-faceted
approach to neighborhood excellence that we would like to share city-wide
We have found that Cuyahoga Falls neighborhoods that have existing
associations, neighborhood groups and neighborhood watches have fewer
problems than those without. Although each neighborhood is unique, engaged
residents with a common vision can create the kind of neighborhood they
desire by working together from the bottom up.
As a group, our ultimate goal is to organize and define each neighborhood in Cuyahoga Falls. With your help, commitment, and recruitment, this
neighborhood excellence initiative is an effective way to drastically improve
our neighborhoods and nurture a spirit of community and pride in this great
city we call home.
