S.T.A.N.D. Against Trafficking
There is a form of slavery going on still today – in the 21st century, which is shocking and staggering in its horrors and depravity. Human trafficking has enslaved more today than at any other time in history – 30 million to date. Men, women and children are all targets for exploitation – whether it is working in brick factories in Indonesia, household labor in the Ambassadorial households of 3rd world dictators, or sex trafficking of young adults from all over the world. If you are distressed by this fact, and would like to invest your skills, time or finances to help those in terrible straits, please attend the S.T.A.N.D. Against Trafficking forum on Sunday, December 16 from 2-5 p.m. S.T.A.N.D. represents what we hope will happen in the lives of the downtrodden as caring people invest their energies in helping: Serve –Teach – Advocate – Nourish – Dignify.
