Mustill Store Holiday Open House features local history authors

Would you like to get a jump start on your holiday shopping while enjoying local history?

You are cordially invited to attend the Mustill Store's annual Holiday Open House on Sat., Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At the event, held in the Mustill Store in historic Cascade Locks Park, the public is invited to stop by to enjoy the restored canal-era store and complimentary holiday treats, as well as to visit with several local history authors who will be on hand to sell autographed copies of their books.
Guest authors will include Jeri Holland, Murder and Mayhem in Akron and Summit County; Mary McClure, High Bridge Glens of Cuyahoga Falls; Lisa Abraham, Famous Chefs and Fabulous Recipes; Boone Triplett, The Bizarro Book of U.S. Presidents and a revised edition of Canals of Ohio: A History and Tour Guide.

Carroll M. Gantz will not be present, but copies of his book, Building St. Helena II, will be available. Autographed books make great holiday gifts!

The Mustill Store is located at 57 W. North Street, Akron. See you there!
