Learning Outcomes



  • Definition of Executive Function

  • Understand the two strands (Metacognitive Strand and Emotional Strand) of Executive Functioning and the components of each of those strands

  • Understanding the timeline as to when and why students begin to show difficulty in this area

  • Identify behaviors at home associated with executive dysfunction

  • Learn strategies at home that support work completion and time management
