ANTICS (At Northminster Together in Christian Sharing) begins on Ash Wednesday, February 13, at 6:00 p.m. with a light meal. Our Ash Wednesday service will follow, with Rev. Stephanie Crossland speaking on "The Voice of Satan". Each Wednesday evening during the Lenten season, a light meal will be served at 6:00 p.m. followed by Rev. Crossland's study of the "Man Beside the Pool", which will focus on healing and Sabbath stories found in Luke and John. Adults have the opportunity to either attend an adult Bible study on the theme, or work with the youth as they look for healing and wholeness through activities including art, music, bible study and more. All are welcome and encouraged to attend during Lent, as we move toward the day of our Lord's Resurrection!

Dean, what's the media for, if not getting the word out? Are they there to just sit on their butts and let people wonder what they really do? Talk about being responsible, I think the media should be responsible for getting the word out. They need to do something for their pay.

We were very fortunate to have the Humane Society take them. They should be available for adoption…Read More soon. I am just deeply saddened that people can do something like this with no concern for the dogs' welfare and to thrust that responsibility onto others who can't stand by and do nothing.

I agree, this is inconsiderate and unkind. I would wish that people would not treat their animals…Read More so, but that remains a wish. However, I am thankful that something worse did not happen. At least at the park, someone was there who was kindhearted enough to take action. I shudder to think of the "other" possibilities.
