Cuy. Falls Historical Society museum open today (Aug. 10)

To give area residents additional opportunities to enjoy its exhibits, the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society museum, 2083 Cook St., will continue to be open to the public for additional evening and weekend hours through August.


Today, the museum is open from 2 to 5 p.m.

Other dates the museum will be open in August include:

- Mondays, from 8 a.m. to noon 

- Sun., Aug. 18 from 2-5 p.m. (third Sunday)

- Sat., Aug. 24 from 2-5 p.m. (fourth Saturday)

The museum is conveniently located one-half block off of E. Portage Trail. To reach the museum, travel east on Portage Trail and cross Munroe Falls Avenue/Newberry. Continue traveling east on Portage Trail. Cook Street will be the third street on the right. Turn right on Cook Street and drive approximately one-half block. The museum will be on the left, across from the Portage Trail East apartments.

Admission is free.
