Weekend Weather Update: New Year's Eve

Slushy conditions turn to mostly clear skies for Saturday.

You won't see any plan-canceling weather for New Year's this weekend.

Friday evening, rain continues with mild temperatures. New Year's Eve gives way to some sunshine just in time to celebrate.

The weekend forecast:

Friday: High 47 degrees, 70 percent chance of rain and some snow, low of 30

Saturday: High 42 degrees, mostly sunny, more clouds at night, low of 38 degrees

Sunday: High 43 degrees, 40 percent chance of snow, low of 24 degrees
