Traffic Alert: More Lane Closures on State Route 8 North
Due to highway resurfacing, a section of northbound State Route 8 will be reduced to two lanes through Tuesday.
State Route 8 north has been narrowed to two lanes between Perkins Street and Howe Avenue for asphalt resurfacing, reports the Falls News Press.
The road construction will conclude Tuesday at 8 p.m.
To stay ahead of the traffic, refer to Patch's real-time Commute map pictured above. If the line marking Route 8 is green, you're good to go. When it's yellow, traffic is beginning to slow down. And if it's red, avoid the highway and circumvent the potential traffic jam.
