Road crews knocked out most if not all of the section of Portage Trail with grinding equipment on Tuesday to prepare Portage Trail for resurfacing from Fourth Street to 13th Street.
The video is of the asphalt grinding equipment finishing off the intersection of Portage Trail and Ninth Street at about 4:30 Tuesday.

The work created dust and slowed traffic to a crawl at times, but comments on Facebook generally welcomed the work.
The paving work was approved by the City Council on July 11.
