Tallmadge Road Closed Due to Water Main Break
Cuyahoga Falls Service Director Valerie Wax Carr said repairs on the water main and road are underway.
A water main burst in front of Preston Elementary School on Tuesday, causing subsequent traffic disruptions on Tallmadge Road between High Street and Magnolia Avenue.
According to Cuyahoga Falls Service Director Valerie Wax Carr, Tallmadge has been closed on and off as crews have worked to repair the damage.
Carr said the water main has been fixed, and that water service has been restored.

A boil alert will not be issued, she said.
As it stands, Tallmadge will reopen by about 2 p.m. Wednesday after city workers finish repairing the road.
