Escape this weekend to see Cake Boss Buddy Valastro live at the Akron Civic Theatre.

The star of TLC’s reality show Cake Boss will appear at 7 p.m. Sunday in an interactive show fans won’t want to miss.

Valastro is expected to dish about what goes on backstage at the hit series and about the members of his big Italian family, many of whom work at Hoboken, N.J.’s Carlo’s Bakery and appear on the show, according to the theatre. Valastro, who has run his family’s bakery since he was 17, also will do live demonstrations of cake decorating techniques that have made him one of the most famous cake architects in the country. If you’re really lucky, you could be one of the audience members chosen to join him on stage.
