Recycle Christmas Trees Through City Sanitation

The will pick up trees Dec. 26 through Jan. 13. 

Pickup will be the same day as your assigned trash day, but be with a separate truck.

Leave your tree at the curb, and it will then be taken to the city compost for recycling. 

"They need to remember to remove the stand, the lights and all the decorations," said Becky McCleary, Public Utilities Customer Advocate.

If you happen to keep your tree later than the deadline, the trucks might still pick it up. To be sure, call the sanitation department at 330-971-8010.
