The Humane Society of Greater Akron is spotlighting these animals for adoption from among the many that are available:
Gypsy is a 2.5 year old Shepherd mix that weighs about 65 pounds. This long-legged beauty was adopted from the HSGA when she was a puppy and recently returned because of allergies. While in the home, she was housebroken, but may need some time adjusting to a new schedule and routine. She is a friendly lady that gets along well with other dogs and cats. She loves playing with her favorite squeaky toys and is a very gentle player. If you are wondering if Gypsy may be the right dog for you, stop down and meet her to find out!
This kitty's name fits her purrrfectly because that is exactly what she is – a DREAM! She arrived with a badly injured leg and sadly we could not save it so we had to amputate. Now this gorgeous tripod gets around very well and is looking for a forever family to spend the holidays with. She LOVES to get pets and be brushed. She is a very sweet and loving girl and we hope her dreams come true soon of finding a home!
