Hollow Front Street Festival Lurks in Near Future

Festival expands Halloween "season" even more.

Maybe you've seen the old black hearse parked in a neighborhood driveway or parking lot. Didn't have time to jot down the information printed on it? No worries. Here it is.

The Hollow Front Street Festival is a weekend-long celebration of all things Halloween. There is a haunted house (with $11 admission fee, though you can get $2 off at the website), arts and crafts, food and beer. Wear a costume and see other costumed visitors.

The Hollow Front Street Festival starts at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, and gasps its last ghastly breath Sunday at 9 p.m. It will be in the north fountain area (the south side near the amphitheater is being prepared for winter ice skating).
