Flood Advisory Issued for Summit County

Forecasters warn of excessive runoff and possible flooding.

A Flood Advisory is in effect for Summit County until 1 p.m. Thursday.

The National Weather Service reports runoff from the storm could cause minor flooding of low lying and poorly drained streets. Flooding near creeks, streams and ditches is likely.

Forecasters remind motorists to not drive vehicles into areas where water covers the roadway, as the depth might not be safe to cross.
