Flash Flood Warning in Summit County

Forecasters say the morning rainfall could rise quickly.

A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for Summit County until 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The National Weather Service estimates that three to five inches of rain fell during the morning hours. The rate of the rainfall could result in flash flooding, especially near areas with standing water and poor drainage.

Forecasters advise residents who live near rivers and creeks to take immediate action to protect their property.
