Daytime Burglary; Costly Vandalism; and Bank Account Theft

Better lock your doors

At 5 p.m. on Oct. 21, a burglar snuck into a resident's unlocked home in the 1800 block of Bailey Road and swiped a 32" flat panel TV. Total loss: $400. There are no suspects.

$1,000 bank theft

A Falls woman called Cuyahoga Falls Police on Oct. 20 after someone lifted $968 from her bank account. The thief apparently stole the woman's ATM card and a personal check to access her account. The woman wishes to prosecute if the crook is caught.

Costly vandalism

Ralph Moore, Quartermaster of VFW Post 1062, called police on Oct. 18 after someone yanked an exterior central air line out of the wall of the local community hub. As a result, the entire air conditioning unit needed to be placed. Total loss: $7,300. There are no leads or suspects.
