UPDATE Daughter of Two Summit County Judges Killed in Ski Accident

Calling hours and a funeral is planned for Andrea Teodosio this week.

The daughter of Summit County judges Linda and Thomas Teodosio died following a ski accident in West Virginia Saturday afternoon.

Andrea Teodosio, a 2006 graduate, was skiing at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort, where the accident took place.

The Akron Beacon Journal reports the 22-year old died after she was taken to Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye, W.Va. Further details surrounding the accident were unavailable.

Teodosio worked as a research and strategy development assistant at Hitchcock Fleming and Associates. She graduated in 2010 from John Carroll University with a bachelor degree in business administration communications.

Her mother, Summit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio, is a former Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court judge. Her father is Summit County Common Pleas Judge Thomas Teodosio, who previously held a seat on Summit County Council. Her grandfather, Al Teodosio, was a chairman of the Summit County Democratic Party.

She survived by her parents and brother, Christopher, a graduate of Clemson University and law student at University of Akron.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Holy Family Parish in Stow. The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Family Parish.
