Cuyahoga Falls Couple Survive Two U.S. Catastrophes

The Williard family shares their experience after the Boston Marathon bombing and at the Virginia Tech shooting with ABCNewscom.

It's unimaginable to experience one horrific catastrophe, but one local family has lived through two — both of which happened in mid-April.

The Willard family of Cuyahoga Falls was at the Boston Marathon when the bombs went off and the couple was on campus for the shooting at Virgina Tech.

"There's very few times that you have terror set in, but in my life I remember feeling a certain way during the massacre — just sheer terror — and feeling that way at Boston, not knowing what was happening," Kelly Willard told ABCNews.com. "I definitely had flashbacks to Virginia Tech."
