Etiquette for Everyday

Ohio showing their best Manners.

As I traveled throughout Northeast Ohio this past week, I have noticed something wonderful. We have had a very mild winter with alot of sunshine. The warmer climate has soften the hearts of everyone. I have noticed more Thank You's, more Smiles, more Eye to Eye Contact and more Doors Opening. It is refreshing to see this behavior, witnessing people treat each other with kindness. It is encouraging to the core of humankind.

What we need to remember is to keep it up with or without sunshine. To continue to think of others and treat people the way we want to be treated.

This is the beginning of my blog, a new start of new behaviors. One step at a time, one smile at a time, one thank you at a time, one open door at a time. Keep up the good work my fellows.

C. H., If you can just restate the Golden Rule then we would have all the etiquette we need. Do unto others as you would have them do to you. And the corollary that most of us forget: Do Not Do To Others What You Would Not Have Done To You. That being said, I promise to conduct myself with kindness and afford every person I meet with the dignity that I would wish that they would give me.
