Visions for Vacancies: Sun Seekers Tanning

The Portage Trail tanning salon closed its doors in November, and Cuyahoga Falls officials are eager to see a new business move into the colonial brick space, located at 1602 Portage Tr.

Sun Seekers Tanning closed its doors in November, and as of Friday, no prospective business owner has stepped up to fill the 2,000-square-foot space.

According to Summit Properties realtor Dean Corpas, Sun Seekers was in business for about a decade, and did quite well thanks to its proximity to Bolich Middle School.

Corpas says another tanning salon would be ideal for this location, but what do you think?

It would have been nice if Sunseekers would have informed their clients of their closing. I had purchased a THREE MONTH tanning package only to show up to tan 3 WEEKS later to find doors locked, lights out, and phone number out of service. The money is irritating, but I would like to think that small business owners would value my time as well. This was not the case. I think this shows poor charactor and was really irritated by the way long term patrons were so easily screwed over.

I feel exactly the same ad you ! Had been going there since Lindsey just worked there then continued to refer people after she purchased it. I too had visits as did many others. How can you do that to loyal customers I'm a small town. Not even so much as a note on the door. Bad business!
