Viewfinder: Szalay's Farm Market Open for Business
On Friday, the organic market reopened for summer and fall, and it didn't take much convincing for customers to stop by for the premium produce.
It doesn't get much better than this.
Szalay's is, once again, open for business and customers couldn't be happier with the open-air market's premium produce selection.
"I love coming here," said Sandra Mullen of Barberton. "Before the organic trends, there was Szalay's. There's nothing like this place. My favorite is the fresh watermelon."

Ask a few more customers why they've arrived and you might get some different answers:

"The ice cream," exclaimed little Lucy Phillips, of Akron.
Owner Paula Szalay welcomed folks as they drove up. One customer even flew in from California for opening day.
"She traveled here to bring a relative in for our first day of business," said Szalay. "...It was special, and it's nice to see so many familiar faces."
