Open for Business: Tour the New Acme Fresh Market
The 52,000-square-foot grocery features expanded meat beer and wine departments, plus a new pharmacy, bank and produce section.
Welcome to the new Acme Fresh Market No. 10.
The 60-year-old grocery store underwent an $8.5 million renovation over the last year, and the final result is a drastic improvement compared to the old, outdated space.
The new Acme features 20,000 additional square feet of floor space, a new deli, expanded meat and adult beverage departments, plus a new pharmacy and produce section, said Acme executive vice president Jim Trout.
"It's the most complex project that Acme has ever undertaken, and I can't be prouder of my colleagues for working through it," said Trout.
To mark the occasion, 150 Richardson Elementary students marched across 23rd Street to help turn on the towering sign that was recently installed at the Acme, located at 2226 State Rd.
