Gas Prices Are Dropping

After months of creeping up toward $4 per gallon, fuel prices are dropping.

Have you noticed a little less pain at the gas pump lately? Gasoline prices have been steadily dropping in the last couple of weeks, and there are reports of gas falling below $3 per gallon in the Columbus area. That rate is no use to us in Northeast Ohio, but it could be a harbinger of good things to come.

Prices have reportedly dipped as low as $3.13 (and 9-10ths) at Sam’s Club, 1189 Buchholzer Blvd.

The at Bailey Road and Lincoln Avenue is reportedly $3.17

Many stations are now pricing regular fuel just under $3.20, at $3.19 (and 9-10ths), including the at Broad Boulevard and Second Street.

Fuel prices tend to be volatile, but at least they’re moving in the right direction for the time being.
