Bites Nearby: Eddy's Deli & Restaurant

For me, Eddy’s Deli & Restaurant could not be much more nearby. Situated across from Harrington Field in a mostly residential area at 2655 Oakwood Dr., it’s a three-minute walk from my house. 

Eddy’s is a bit off the beaten paths of Graham Road and State Road, but it has established enough traffic to stay alive and even add a second Eddy’s. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Eddy’s is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, 365 days a year. The second Eddy’s location on Route 59 in Stow near Kent, is open 24 hours Thursday through Saturday. 

The menu features a wide variety of breakfast specials starting at $3.95; big omelets and skillets with toast and a side start at $4.95; plus pancakes, waffles and an a la carte breakfast menu.

Deli sandwiches include corned beef and roast beef that are cooked on the premises daily as well as all the classic hot sandwiches, burgers and chicken grills (grilled cheese is $3.75 to prime rib sandwich at $7.95). 

Dinner items include pasta dishes (spaghetti dinner $6.95), 14-oz. ribeye steak $13.95, lemon pepper chicken (two chicken breasts, $9.45), chicken or veal Parmesan ($9.45). Entrees come with salad or soup, potato or vegetable and roll.  

Bring your appetite. Food portions are generous.

Eddy’s also offers online catering (at least two days advance notice), as well as lunch and dinner online. Allow 30 minutes before pickup.
