Editor Learns That Baking Isn't As Easy As Pie

Patch Editor Robert Michaelson learns how to make the perfect pie crust at The Blakc Forest Cafe in Amherst.

WARNING: This video may contain delicious content and is only intended for hungry audiences.

Chef/Co-owner of The Black Forest Cafe Bruce Walters was nice enough to invite me to his kitchen to show me the best way to make a pie crust for his Dutch Apple Pies.

I got a hands-on lesson on how to make a pie that would make any dieter think twice. You can find these delicious desserts at their location on Route 101 in Amherst.

Also, this was one of the first times in this series that I didn't mess something up. I feel pretty proud of myself.

Thanks for the funniest video I've seen all day. Actually, end result looks pretty good. Next time, try adding fresh lemon zest and cranberries to the apple filling -- delicious! Irene from the Cabinet

Thanks Irene! I may just have to bring the pie skills to my own kitchen...we will see how that goes.
