LeFever Powerhouse Dam Coming Down Monday
The RiverWorks team will begin demolition next week, weather permitting.
If the weather cooperates, the RiverWorks demolition team will tear down the LeFever Powerhouse Dam starting Monday, Aug. 12.
For those that wish to visit the site and witness the demolition, a special viewing area has been set up underneath the Portage Trail Bridge, according to Cuyahoga Falls Service Director Valerie Wax Carr.
