Viewfinder: Somebody Notify CSI

Some yards in Cuyahoga Falls look like crime scenes as neighbors gear up for Halloween.

It's only Oct. 8, but Cuyahoga Falls folks are getting into the spirit of Halloween already, putting up ghosts, goblins and plenty of skulls and skeletons.

Some yards feature the macabre side of Halloween, such as the yard pictured here, with a little gallows humor to boot. Others are more whimsical, even goofy, with colorful characters such The Great Pumpkin of Peanuts fame.

Mark your calendar: The city has designated Saturday, Oct. 29, as trick-or-treat night. Also join the Community Halloween Spooktacular @Falls River Square  2 p.m. on Oct. 29.
