Things To Do This Week

Riverfront Car Cruise Monday, Flicks on the Falls Thursday.

Here's roundup of things to do this week. You can start this evening with a non-holiday event on the riverfront. 

• The Riverfront Car Cruise is at the Falls River Square District near Portage Trail from 5 until 9 p.m. tonight. See the variety of show and vintage cars. There are fireworks at Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron tonight.

• Get some low-impact aerobic exercise with belly dancing lessions at the Quirk Cultural Center on Tuesday, from 6 to 7 p.m. It's a four-week session.

• The Plein Air Exhibit is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center, 2131 Front St. It's part of the fourth annual Cuyahoga Valley Plein Air Painting Competition.  

• Thursday is Flicks on the Falls with "How to Train Your Dragon." Also appearing are the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department's K-9 dogs Kilo and Diesel. Officer Perry Tabak will introduce Kilo and Diesel to kids and answer questions.

The Farmers Market is open 3-7 p.m. Friday in the municipal parking lot at Stow and Second streets. Stop by for fresh, locally grown produce.
