Ellen Herman is Racing to Save Lives In Memory of Kyle

Welcome to my Team In Training home page. I lost my brother Lanny to lymphoma in 2003. Like most who lose a loved one, I asked 'Why?" In 2009, my friend Sharon lost her grandson Kyle to Acute Myloid Leukemia(AML). That made me stop asking "why" and start asking family and friends to help me raise money for research. Please support me as I pedal 100 miles for a cure on June 5, 2011 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. I never want another family to ask "WHY"?

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and in memory of my brother, Lanny and my little friend Kyle. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.

I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
