Thanks Patch for making this local event known. I read this and had just enough time to get there when it started. I haven't heard that many diversity in musical styles in a single concert until this one. From southern gospel quartet songs to black spirituals and soul, from contemporary to country, it had it all. That was a highly professional performance by all. If any of them live locally, then accept this compliment from someone who's really picky about music. I would love to hear them again, sepecially the Orchestra with the beautiful sopranno Melissa with an angelic voice as well as the tenor Tom who also sang in a trio later. Those two songs were one of the few classical / traditional songs that were preformed that night. For a moment I felt like I was at Severance Hall. Then the Mens Quartet sang and again I was stunned by their voices and presence on stage. I've got to try to find out where I can purchase their CDs. I hope they continue to do more of these gospel concerts in the future. Their sound system is awesome, this is certainly not what I expected in a church. The article stated you would leave with a smile on your face, and I must admit it's true. Thanks to whomever posted the information on Patch.
