Water Main Repairs Trigger Boil Alert in Cuyahoga Falls

Residents in the affected area are asked to boil their water for at least two minutes.

A Cuyahoga Falls boil alert has been issued for Silver Lake Avenue between Lillis Street and Prange Drive due to water main repairs.

According to John Christopher, the city's water superintendent, water dropped "below pressure" following the repairs, which triggered the alert.

Residents in the affected area are asked to boil their water for at least two minutes, said Christopher.

The alert will expire Thursday, Aug. 22 at 4 p.m.
