According to the "Trayvon Martin - One Voice Silenced, Millions Awakened" Facebook page, protestors are still intent on rallying at Falls River Square Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Facebook's page's latest wall update came at about 11:45 a.m., and simply said "today" with a link to the planned Falls River Square protest.

"We will be meeting at the (Falls River Square, Broad Boulevard) clock tower and walk together throughout the festival and then make our way back to the clock tower and have some speakers. We need more support so invite your friends and family to the event. No Justice, No Peace," the Facebook page stated.

A social media plan aimed at gathering protestors upset with the Trayvon Martin verdict to Falls River Square at 1 p.m. Sunday hit a snag late this week.

Festa Italiana, a 3-day weekend event that's traditionally held at the square, obtained the permit to use the public space a year ago, meaning protestors wouldn't have the option to rally at the popular locale.

“We would love to give the rally another date,” Cuyahoga Falls Development Director Sue Truby told the Akron Beacon Journal. “They just need to contact us and file and pay for a permit.”

Cuyahoga Falls police have also notified rally organizers via the “Trayvon Martin - One Voice Silenced, Millions Awakened” Facebook page that Martin protestors cannot congregate at the same location, the Falls News-Press reports.

The Martin Facebook page states, "We are not an organization. We are not a business. We are just a group of friends — students, volunteers, teachers, engineers etc... — who want to rally in the name of Trayvon Martin. We thank you for standing in solidarity with us!”
