Patch captured one last memorable shot of the 99-year-old Sheraton Dam before demolition began Tuesday morning.

Jackhammering began on the 99-year-old Sheraton Mill Dam Tuesday morning and didn't let up thanks to cooperative weather.

Removal of the dam should be wrapped up by next week, then demolition on the LeFever Dam will begin.
