Last year, I personally was touched by this cause when my own mother fought this disease. So far, she's winning the battle and continues to be cancer free, but that doesn't stop the fear we feel each time she's re-tested.
The 2012 dates for the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer have been announced in cities all over the U.S., and I'm planning on attending one of them. It is my wish to participate as a walker in honor of my mom.
