“Stuff The Bus” With School Supplies and Help Cuyahoga Falls Students Get Ready For Back to School!
KinderCare Learning Centers and News Channel 5 Leading School Supplies Drive; Bring Donations to KinderCare Locations August 13 and 14
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, (August 13th & 14th , 2013) – KinderCare Learning Centers, a leader in early childhood education for more than 40 years, is teaming up with News Channel 5 to help local students prepare for back to school with the “Stuff The Bus” program. Community members can donate school supplies at local KinderCare Learning Centers on August 13 and 14. The donations will then be delivered and donated to local schools.
School Supply items could include, glue sticks, 24 ct. box of crayons, Colored pencils, washable markers, dry erase markers, pocket folders, 1” Binders, sheet protectors, book bags, box of Kleenex, large pink erasers, wide ruled spiral notebooks, packages of notebook paper, post it notes, Highlighters, pencils, zippered pencil pouch, and lined index cards.
“Backpacks full of school supplies help children focus on learning and help teachers focus on their jobs, knowing their students have what they need,” said KinderCare District Manager Amber Hale. “This program can help parents who may be struggling to make ends meet by making back to school season less stressful. We also believe students that have what they need are more confident and start the school year off on a level playing field with their peers. By donating, members of our community are giving more than a pencil or a notebook; they’re giving a child an opportunity to learn.”
