DESCRIPTION:Designed to give artists a place to display their creativity\
 , this event at The Root Cafe occurs on the last Saturday of every month
 . &nbsp\;The artist comes at 8:00 and sets up their art work for a small
  fee\, the viewing public start coming at 9:00. &nbsp\;The artist is exp
 ected to remain with their artwork for the duration - until 2:00pm. &nbs
 p\;The viewing public will vote on their favorite for the show and the w
 inner gets a small gift\, bragging rights and the opportunity to be feat
 ured via video in the cafe for the following month. &nbsp\;Every month t
 he medium and theme will be different. &nbsp\;Come and join us whether y
 ou are an artist or enjoy viewing art. &nbsp\;For the month of June the 
 theme is nature and the medium photography. &nbsp\;For the artist\, appl
 ication forms are available at the web-site. &nbsp\;No sales may be made
  on the premises\, but business cards may be handed out. &nbsp\;
