Vacation Bible School - Amazing Wonders Aviation

Recently I was posting on facebook about how Broadman Baptist Church was ranked one of the top VBS programs in the nation by a national survey conducted by Lifeway in 2008. In response, one of the local journalist (Craig Madrin) wrote to me and said, “Chris, you should definitely make CuyahogaFalls aware of this. In fact, I'd advise writing up a brief story if you have time and submitting it on their UPublish site. That's a great accolade for your church! People should know about it.” So here is my attempt at letting people know about the awesome VBS program in our amazing community.

Amazing Wonders Aviation was the theme for Broadman Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School this year. Throughout the week kids and youth learned about our Awesome God and His Amazing Power over nature, circumstances, our sin, death and much more! We were in awe of God’s power as we learned about the Seven Natural Wonders of the world. We soared to new heights, seeing new faces, old faces and a total team effort with over 200 people present for each night. We collected supplies for Quiet Love for missions, we did various crafts, learned some really awesome music, played some far out games in recreation, and ate some really tasty snacks. It was another successful year.

For more information about Broadman Baptist Church and our VBS program please check out our website at www.broadmanchurch.org. Next year perhaps you could come out and experience the difference as we take on the “Colossal Coaster World” and turn our lives upside down for Jesus; July 15 – 19, 2013; 6-9 p.m.

Awesome God!  Amazing Power!

Why do people on the right side of my screen have to pay to advertise on the Patch while Pastor Chris gets to advertise under the guise of blogging for free?

Michalel, I do not with to be argumentative with you. But I am a local blogger for the patch. I provide religious views on topics and I report stuff that is going on in our community through our church. That is an event that is news worthy. It is pretty significant that one of Cuyahoga Falls Churches is ranked as one of the top 100 VBS programs in the nation. That is new worthy, not advertisement. I wish you the best. To all who may be reading this in our community and who attended VBS this year...thanks for making it another successful VBS...way to go, I am proud of all the volunteers that came out to make this possible. God Bless!
