Pawsibilities, Humane Society of Greater Akron is now accepting donations for their June 1st Rummage Sale. Items can be dropped off every Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 2pm from now until May 20th at the Stow-Kent Shopping Center located at 4301 Kent Rd. in Stow.

All proceeds are used to help rescue, rehabilitate and care for abused, neglected or abandoned animals, and find loving “forever” homes for them. Material Gift Receipts, citing the value of item(s), are available for tax purposes.

Items Accepted: 

Small household appliances (proper working order, clean); Dishes, glasses, tableware, cookware, etc.; Storage items; Decorative items, pictures, shelving, etc.; Furniture (good condition); Sporting goods (see exceptions); Bicycles, tricycles; Toys, games (all parts present); Craft items; Sewing items; Books, CDs, DVDs; Pet products, beds, etc.; Baby items; Musical instruments; Holiday items; Linens, all types (clean); purses, jewelry, scarves, etc.; Perfumes, lotions (unopened );Lawn and garden items; Tools; Office furniture and supplies; Lamps, lighting (good working condition); computer games.

NOT Accepted Items:

Clothing; shoes, Televisions; VCR’s, LP records; Computers and computer parts; Skis; Exercise Machines; Golf Clubs/Bags; Mattresses/Boxsprings; Full size appliances; tires; baby cribs and car seats
