Can you believe there are “back to school” ads in the papers, on TV, and on the radio already? Guess that means we are in the August summertime stretch. There are a plethora of activities happening in music and arts in Northeast Ohio, specifically Summit County. Did you know the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Celebration, Hudson First & Main and other area towns are having many music and art events this August?

Wednesday, August 1, from 6PM-9PM: Community Band Festival: Enjoy performances by the Canal Fulton, Medina, & Western Reserve community bands & final performance of Music Camp by Nature concert band at Happy Days Lodge.
Sunday, August 5, from noon-11PM: The Fest performances from Christian bands, Catholic and community family get together at Center for Pastoral Leadership, Wickliffe, OH
Sunday, August 5, from 1PM-3PM Towpath Trail: Dale Galgozy performs guitar /singer / songwriter at Canal Visitor Center.
Tuesday, August 7, from 6PM-8PM Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Celebration: Dick Goddard, Cuyahoga Falls Community Chorus, & New Horizon band performs at Falls River Square Amphitheatre.
Wednesday, August 8, at 5:30PM family activities, 6:30PM concert begins Howe Meadow: The Wanda Hunt Band Wand & her 7 piece band sing and play old school rhythm & blues.
Wednesday, August 8, from 6:30PM-8:30PM: Akron Big Band Concert. Part of Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial celebration at Falls River Square Amphitheatre
