To: All of the kind people who our democracy to function at higher levels,
Based upon using my county's Board of Elections website, I discovered that I have likely voted for or against some 64 public officials.
I know a few of my public officials personally. But, most I do not know.
I do NOT want to give my 64 public officials hell.
I do NOT want to operate in fear and anger.
I want to earn their trust and respect.
I am not running for any office or asking for a special favor.
Some of my questions include:
1. How do I become and informed and involved voter?
2. Can I use the latest tools, techniques and training?
3. Can I ask my 64 public officials to help me write my job description?
In the meantime, I will remain their obedient servant.

To: Adam C. Miller,
I assume that your suggestion is to consider the Akron Tea Party (ATP) as a solution to my initial question around becoming an informed and involved voter.
If so, please help us to understand what questions the ATP wants us to consider.
If you could restate all of your solution statements as a question then I think that I could understand better.

To: Earl Elevant,
Please help us to understand who you want to tell that they 'wear white sheets ... .'

It was an offhand remark equating the tea party to the KKK.
How did you not get that reference?

To: Earl,
Thank you for the clarification.
I am slowly learning that as more and more people start to read a blog post
then the probability of one person misunderstanding my statements or questions is likely to rise.
Thus, I work to write in a simple and precise manner.
