Woodridge Local Schools Rated Excellent by State

District meets or exceeds 24 of 26 state standards.

Woodridge Local Schools began the new school year with news that the district is rated Excellent in the Ohio Department of Education

“Once again, the Woodridge Local School District has achieved the Excellent rating on the local report card,” said Superintendent Walter Davis said in an email. “We are proud of the long tradition of excellence that our district has enjoyed and continue to strive to provide the very best educational programming for each of our students.

“Our focus remains, however, on efforts aimed at regaining the ‘with distinction’ label, Ohio’s highest rating. With that as our collective goal, we are beginning implementation of a response to intervention program of remediation and enrichment which will get us there. The entire Woodridge community should be proud of its schools. As our district vision statement outlines, we remain focused on excellence, guiding our youth, planning for the future, and learning for a lifetime.”
