A Brooklyn, Ohio woman faces felony charges following an alcohol-related car accident earlier this month that sent four to the hospital.
Police say driver Linda K. Legeza, 53, of 901 N. Ridge Oval, Brooklyn Ohio, went left of center and ran into another car near the intersection of Steels Corner and Northampton roads at about 11:30 p.m. July 8. Police suspect Legeza was driving under the influence, but she refused a blood-alcohol test.
Three women in the second car were seriously injured in the crash. All four women were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Legeza is charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular assault, a third-degree felony. Her case was bound over to Summit County Common Pleas Court on Monday.
